The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues its field follow-up of the irrigation networks, alongside carrying out maintenance and repair work, to ensure the continuous delivery of water to the farmlands and to serve the farmers.
High irrigation rates were recorded in many areas, reaching 100% in Bellouran, Harajiya, Zaghrin, Zaghrin–Sarsakiya, Shabtaliya–Ain al-Bayda, Drouqiyat, Aqaba–Ain al-Bayda, Hara Beit Zidan, and Ain Alwan, while rates in other networks ranged between 85 and 95%, and in some networks of the Fourth Irrigation Group – Tarjano, it reached 90%.
