The storage levels of dams in Latakia Governorate, as well as Karsana and Kharbat al-Jawziya dams, have risen, filling up completely for the first time in decades at this time of year.

The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia Governorate announced that the current storage volume in the governorate's dams has risen to 233.991 million cubic meters, which equals 63.85% of the maximum storage capacity of 366.450 million cubic meters. This level comes after a noticeable improvement compared to the previous storage, which was only 86.124 million cubic meters.
