Works of the Directorate of Water Resources in Homs Governorate
The work carried out included the following:
- Intensify piezometric well measurements at the Tell Hawsh and Al-Muzayna dams.
- Monitor seepage at the Al-Qaryatayn dam.
- Verify the readiness of the spillway facilities at the Tell Hawsh and Al-Muzayna dams.
- Maintain an empty reservoir volume at the Taldou dam to mitigate the impact of an emergency flood surge.
- Remove blockages in waterways in the Al-Buqay'a Plain to protect agricultural crops.
