Water resources inspect the progress of water projects in Quneitra
The Director General of the General Authority for Water Resources, Engineer Ahmed Al-Kawan, inspected the progress of work and efforts in managing and developing water resources in Quneitra Governorate on Thursday.
The visit included a field tour of several completed and ongoing projects to assess their status and identify their needs, thereby contributing to enhanced performance efficiency and ensuring the sustainability of water resources.
Engineer Al-Kawan emphasized to SANA the importance of redoubling efforts to preserve water resources and strengthening coordination among relevant authorities to serve the people of Quneitra. He commended the national expertise working in this vital sector.
The tour is part of the regular monitoring to ensure the sound management of water resources and to maximize the benefits of the recent rainfall in the governorate, which has revitalized valleys and dams after years of drought.
