Water Resources Directorates in Daraa Governorate
Daraa Governorate is located in southern Syria and is considered the country's southern gateway to Jordan. It covers an area of about 3,730 km² and features fertile plains and a climate suitable for agriculture.
It is famous for cultivating wheat, vegetables, tomatoes, and olives, and is considered one of the most important agricultural areas in Syria. It includes the city of Daraa and several historical cities such as Bosra al-Sham, which has the famous Roman theater, and it also constitutes an important location for trade and transportation.
