Water is a national responsibility and an investment in the future.
The General Authority for Water Resources is the legal custodian of water resources in Syria. Based on this principle, the Authority, represented by its central administration, directorates, and branch directorates in the governorates, works diligently and continuously to secure water for citizens according to Syria's strategic priorities (drinking, agriculture, industry, services, etc.). It also works to address the numerous challenges posed by climate change and the drought conditions affecting our region in general, as well as the economic and political circumstances in Syria in particular.
We pray to God to guide our steps so that we may contribute to the recovery of Syria after liberation, making it a free, strong, and productive nation, thanks to the dedication of its people and those who govern it.
