Washing the solar panels at the Brega pumping station to boost their efficiency and keep them running
The workshop at the Brega Pumping Station, part of the Water Resources Directorate in Quneitra, carried out washing and cleaning of the solar panels, with the participation of the station staff and in cooperation with the local farmers. The aim was to maintain the efficiency of the energy system and ensure the continuous operation of the pumping station.
The work included removing dust and debris accumulated on the panel surfaces, which enhances their ability to absorb sunlight and convert it into energy more efficiently, contributing to stable energy system performance and the continuous operation of the station in serving the agricultural lands benefiting from irrigation water.
