As part of ongoing efforts to address citizens’ service needs, the Director of Water Resources in Homs visited the Governorate’s Council for Tribal and Clan Affairs, where he held a meeting with Mr. Hussein Al-Aboud Saif Al-Khaldi, the Council’s Director of Public Relations, in the presence of several members of the local community.
The meeting addressed the state of water resources in eastern Homs, particularly in the Badia region, and the local population’s needs regarding the provision of water sources and improved access to water. The participants also discussed existing challenges and ways to coordinate efforts to address them.
The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening communication and cooperation between the Directorate of Water Resources and local community representatives to help monitor water-related needs, identify priorities, and work towards appropriate and sustainable solutions that serve the local population.
