The staff of the Water Resources Directorate in Tartous carried out repairs on a 300 mm Asbestos-type line in the seventh section in the Kharaba area, ensuring the continuous supply of irrigation water to about 75 hectares of farmland.

The work also included fixing several metal faults in the network to reduce water waste, improve operational efficiency, and ensure stable water supply to the farmland during the current irrigation season.

These works are part of the regular maintenance programmes carried out by the directorate to keep government irrigation networks ready and improve their operational efficiency, helping to meet the water needs of farmland and make the best use of available water resources.
