The staff of the Tartus Directorate of Water Resources have reinstalled the second pump motor at the Ain Zubda pumping station and put it into service, ensuring the continued flow of irrigation water to about 481 hectares of farmland benefiting from the station during the current watering season.
This came after completing the motor winding and maintenance, and carrying out operational tests that confirmed its readiness to work at full efficiency. The Ain Zubda pumping group consists of three pumps, each with a flow rate of 220 litres per second, operating with motors each having a capacity of 110 kilowatts.
