The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia is strengthening the water monitoring system and developing the database
The Water Resources Information Center in the Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues its work of collecting and documenting water data from various sites as part of efforts to develop the information system and support monitoring and planning processes.
Fieldwork included areas like Beit Ana springs, Jowfin, Al-Arz, Al-Daliah (1 & 2), Ain Ghnam, Wadi Al-Qala'a, as well as the Pine, Qasabin, H18, H8 wells, and Al-Sakhaba quarry, aimed at updating the water database and improving the accuracy of information.
The Water Quality Monitoring Division in the Integrated Management Department also continues its work in the chemical lab by preparing the necessary reagents for conducting routine tests and analyses to ensure water quality tracking.
The directorate emphasizes its ongoing efforts to develop an efficient system for monitoring and managing water resources.
