The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues its field monitoring of the water situation. The Water Quality Monitoring Division in the Integrated Management Department carried out a tour along the Bahloulia axis, which included collecting samples from Mashqita Dam Lake, Al-Marra Canal, Al-Safsaf, Bahloulia, and Al-Jandiriya wells to track water quality and assess the situation.
At the same time, the Water Resources Information Center conducted a water measurement tour covering points along Jeb Hassan wells, Janata, Al-Qanjra junction, Burj Al-Qasab, Al-Maqata, Ras Shamra, Al-Mina, and Al-Bayda, as part of the ongoing monitoring and follow-up program for the province's water resources.
These tours come as part of continuous fieldwork aimed at enhancing oversight of water resources and providing accurate data that helps evaluate the water situation and support appropriate actions to ensure proper management and sustainability of the resources.
