The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia is keeping an eye on the state of irrigation and maintenance work on the networks.
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to monitor the irrigation situation in the field, alongside carrying out irrigation cycles, working to ensure the readiness of pumping networks and stations, and guaranteeing that water keeps reaching the agricultural areas that benefit from it.
In the Stakhirs area, work continues to fix a metal fault called 'Satom' on line 1_27-1P, where a road about 20 meters long was cut to reach the fault site, along with digging and removing soil and debris to prepare for completing the repair.
Backfilling work was also done for two asbestos faults with a diameter of 200 mm on line 1_8P in the Damat area.
As part of the field follow-up, the irrigation status on the Mukhtariah line above the highway, supplied by station PS12, was checked.
These efforts are happening alongside the irrigation cycles and as part of the daily monitoring of networks and fixing faults, ensuring the irrigation system stays ready and continues to provide water to the agricultural areas that rely on it.
