The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia is keeping an eye on the irrigation situation in the Belleran and Daruqiyat development areas.

The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to monitor the implementation of the irrigation plan in the development areas of Bellouran and Daruqiyat, by keeping track of irrigation cycles and the rates of irrigation within the networks, ensuring the water needs of the benefiting agricultural lands are met.  
 
Monitoring data showed high irrigation rates in several areas, with irrigation reaching 100% in Bellouran, Harajiya, Shabtaliya – Ain Al-Bayda, Al-Aqaba – Ain Al-Bayda, and Haret Beit Zaidan – Ain Al-Bayda, while in Daruqiyat it reached 95%.  
 
Irrigation work also showed good rates in Ain Alwan at 90% and Ain Al-Bayda at 85%, along with the continued implementation of irrigation cycles across various areas according to the approved program.
