The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia is keeping an eye on maintenance and repair work in the irrigation networks
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to carry out maintenance and repair work at several irrigation sites and networks. They have filled three breaks in the asbestos cement lines and repaired three issues on PVC lines in the Rouaysa Al-Adas area.
The work also included removing a blockage on one of the irrigation lines in the Damat area and re-welding the line, installing a complete cut valve in the Al-Amrouniya station network, and digging up and repairing a fault on one of the irrigation lines in the Bahluliya area.
These efforts are part of the ongoing monitoring by the Latakia Water Resources Directorate to ensure the readiness of the irrigation networks, maintain consistent water supply to agricultural lands, and address any faults as quickly as possible to ensure stable and sustainable service.
