The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia is following up on the operation and maintenance work at the pumping stations of Mashqita Dam
The staff of the Latakia Water Resources Directorate continue operations and follow-up work at the group of pumping stations of the second phase of Mashqita Dam, which include Al-Alimia, Nahr Al-Arab, Al-Daroukiyat, Karsana, Al-Shamiya, Al-Qanjara, Al-Mughrit, Dimsarkho, and Saqiet Moussa stations, ensuring the continued operation of the irrigation system and the water needs of the benefiting areas.
As part of maintenance work, a malfunction in the main network of PS-3-8 station in the Qanjara area was repaired by replacing a 200 mm pipe on the PS-3-8-1P line.
Work was also done on maintaining the second pumping unit at Al-Daroukiyat station to ensure the pump operates steadily and to increase its operational readiness.
