The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia is following up on the operation and maintenance work at the main Chelfatiyeh station.
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues its operation and maintenance work at the first-phase pumping stations and the main Shalfatiya station, aimed at ensuring continuous pumping and raising the readiness of the stations and the water system.
The work included operating two pumps at the main Shalfatiya Pumping Station PS1, and monitoring pumping at the Al-Omrouniya, Al-Qabarsiya 12, Shalfatiya 14, Al-Qabarsiya 13, and Jabriyon stations.
A 200 KVA transformer was also installed at the Badmiyoun station, returned to service, and pumping was started immediately. Additionally, breakers were installed in the control panel at the Jandiriya station, which was then returned to service and pumping resumed.
These works are part of ongoing monitoring of the stations’ status and addressing technical faults, ensuring continuous operation and securing water pumping across the benefiting networks.
