The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues water measurements and monitoring water quality
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues its technical tours to monitor the water situation and check water quality, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight of water resources and ensure their safety.
In this context, the Water Resources Information Center conducted a water measurement tour covering several points along the Jebel Hasan wells, Janata, Qanjarah junction, Burj al-Qasab, Al-Maqati', Ras Shamra, and Al-Mina al-Bayda.
Additionally, the Water Quality Monitoring Division in the Integrated Management Department carried out a field visit along the Bahloulia axis, during which samples were collected from Mashqita Dam Lake, Al-Marra canal, and the Alsafsaf, Bahloulia, and Jandairiya wells, aiming to monitor water quality and evaluate its characteristics.
These tours are part of continuous technical monitoring of water resources, strengthening control measures, and collecting the necessary data to support sustainable water management in the governorate.
