The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues water measurement activities and monitoring water quality
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues its field and technical work to monitor the state of water resources. The staff of the Water Resources Information Center carried out a water measurement tour covering a number of points and routes, including the Marij Springs 1 and 2, Sheikh Jumaa, Al-Eido, Majdal Keikhia, as well as the Kafriya and Jisr Ghamam rivers.
At the same time, the Water Quality Monitoring Division within the Integrated Management Department continues its work in the chemical lab, carrying out the necessary tests and analyses to monitor water quality and assess its characteristics.
These activities are part of ongoing monitoring of water resources, enhancing the water database, and ensuring accurate information is available for managing and utilizing water resources and monitoring water quality.
