The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues to monitor the irrigation situation and achieve high rates in Bloran, Zoghrin, and the neighboring towns.
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to monitor the irrigation situation on the ground in the Bloran and Daruqiyat areas and the surrounding towns, with high coverage rates recorded in several networks, reflecting good regularity in delivering irrigation water to the benefiting areas.
Bloran, Harajiya, Zughreen, and Zughreen–Sarsakiya recorded a 100% irrigation rate during the sixth cycle, while Shabtalia–Ain Al-Bayda reached 100% during the third cycle.
In the second cycle, irrigation rates were 100% in two districts and Rawaysa District, and Al-Jurimiqiya, while Ain Al-Bayda, Al-Safsaf, Mashqita, Ain Al-Majouya, Makhous, Beit Nasser, and Sarsakiya reached 90%, and Qalouf, Ain Alwan, and Al-Qumaimida reached 80%, with good rates in Ain Al-Zarqa, Al-Tariqiya, and Hammam.
These results come as a result of continuous monitoring of the irrigation networks and organizing distribution operations to ensure water reaches as many agricultural lands as possible.
