The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues on-site monitoring of dams and pumping stations
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues its field follow-up work. The Water Quality Monitoring Division in the Integrated Management Department carried out a tour along the northern dams axis, which included collecting samples from the lakes of Karsana, Khrbet Al-Jawziya, Al-Jawziya, and Al-Qanjara dams to monitor water quality and conduct necessary tests.
The field tour also included pumping stations as part of the third phase, where a number of stations in the Vidyo, Astamo, Bani Issa, Rasioun, and Ghiw areas were visited, aiming to check on the work situation and ensure the readiness of the stations and the continuity of water services.
These tours are part of continuous on-site follow-up efforts to maintain water quality, increase the efficiency of the pumping system, and ensure continuous operations to serve the residents and farmers.
