The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues maintenance work on irrigation networks and boosting their readiness
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to carry out maintenance and rehabilitation work on irrigation networks across various sectors. A malfunction on the irrigation network in the Hami sector within the Khirbek lands of the Safarqiya Dam networks was repaired, in addition to welding and replacing parts of the irrigation lines within the Ain al-Bayda irrigation group of the Mashqita Dam.
The works also included fixing several network malfunctions, which helps improve the readiness of the irrigation system and ensures the continued supply of water to the benefiting agricultural lands.
