The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues maintenance work on irrigation networks and boosting their readiness
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues carrying out maintenance and repair work on irrigation networks to ensure uninterrupted operation and provide water to agricultural lands according to approved schedules.
The work included fixing issues on the Qanjarah networks (Beksa and Jibro), Al-Kabarsiya, and Manjila, involving repairing asbestos pipes of different diameters, dredging mud, and laying concrete slabs, in addition to fixing a metal fault on the 12-2P Al-Kabarsiya line, all contributing to improving network efficiency and readiness.
Field monitoring and maintenance plans are also ongoing at the Qanjarah, Al-Shamiyah, and Al-‘Alimiyah stations, addressing emergency faults to ensure the smooth operation of the irrigation system and service to the benefiting agricultural areas.
