The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues its work to repair a series of breakdowns on the irrigation lines
In the Marj Al-Maisa area, excavation and repair work was carried out on a 63 mm PVC line within the PS-7 station networks using appropriate machinery and the efforts of technical staff.
Maintenance and repair work was also carried out on the Harb Siano gate and the fourteenth branch gate of the main canal at a level of +50, which contributes to improving water flow regulation and enhancing distribution efficiency, under direct engineering supervision.
In the Bustan Al-Jami sector within the Huweiz Dam networks, a fault was addressed on a 250 mm asbestos line, where the damaged pipe section was replaced and the line was returned to service efficiently.
These works come as part of ongoing efforts to maintain the readiness of water infrastructure in preparation for the irrigation season.
