The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues carrying out its field work to monitor the state of irrigation networks and keep them ready, as maintenance teams started inspecting and repairing two 150 mm asbestos pipelines in the Bani Issa area, which is part of the third group of Mashqita Dam networks.
The work included the necessary excavations, locating the faults, and performing the required maintenance and technical fixes, aiming to get the line back in service and ensure the network continues to operate efficiently.
The directorate emphasizes that it will keep following up and maintaining the irrigation networks to ensure the irrigation service continues and the networks remain ready to serve farmers.
