The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues field maintenance and repair work
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues its fieldwork to enhance the readiness of water channels and networks. The isolation and filling of the joints between the main channel slabs MC_1 in the Badmiyoun area using S10 insulation material have been completed.
Work has also been completed on digging and replacing a section of the 13_A metal line in the Qabarsiya area, along with removing water and repairing a malfunction on one of the Jandairiya lines, and addressing another issue on a water line in the area with concrete casting.
As part of maintaining water facilities, the Gabrion–Ain al-Laban siphon gate was repaired and maintained, as part of the directorate’s ongoing maintenance efforts to preserve the efficiency of the facilities and networks and ensure their continuous operation.
Technical teams and specialized workshops continue field monitoring and carry out repair and maintenance work based on priorities and needs, contributing to improving the networks’ conditions and enhancing their efficiency.
