The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia continues dredging the main canals
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues its fieldwork to enhance the efficiency of canals and water facilities. Dredging work was carried out on the main canal at a level of +11 in the Wata Al-Aqeeba area, covering a length of 200 meters, with the excavated soil being removed.
The work also included dredging the Abu Ba’ra and Al-Huwayz siphons on the main canal at a level of +50, which helps improve water flow, increase the canal's efficiency, and ensure its continuous operation.
These efforts are part of the directorate’s ongoing field monitoring to keep the irrigation network ready and address any obstacles that affect water delivery to beneficiaries.
