The Water Resources Directorate in Latakia and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) continue rehabilitating the Ain Al-Bayda irrigation network.

As part of efforts to develop irrigation network infrastructure and improve its efficiency, the Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia, in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), continues replacing 300 mm asbestos pipes with 355 mm polyethylene pipes on the 2MP line in the Mushayrfa area, part of the Ain al-Bayda irrigation group.

These works are part of efforts to modernize irrigation networks and enhance their efficiency and reliability, helping to improve water delivery to agricultural lands, support the sustainability of water resources, and serve the agricultural sector in the governorate.
