The Water Resources Directorate continues to organise irrigation courses... and the second course has started in the Sufraqia sector and Kafr Dabil networks.

The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to implement its approved irrigation schedule programme, having started the operation and distribution of water in several areas.

In the Safarqiyah sector, the main Safarqiyah dam sluice was opened to fill the 1000 mm main line, simultaneously with the opening of the main Safarqiyah sector sluice, signalling the start of the second irrigation cycle in the sector's networks, which include Safarqiyah, Drouna, Rwaisat Al-Basatna, Rwaisat Afif, Al-Hummi, Al-Bitar, Qifala, Al-Hamadiyah, Bayt Al-Atiqah, Al-Bahass, Salurin, Ain Al-Arus, Bustan Al-Basha, and Batra.

This morning, based on the meeting of the Sub-Irrigation Committee in Jableh, the Kafr Dubayl dam sluice was also opened, starting the second irrigation cycle in its networks, while monitoring the irrigation water situation and ensuring the distribution process runs smoothly.
