The water authority in the Homs Water Resources Directorate confiscated an illegal excavator that was operating unlawfully.

To protect water resources, prevent illegal well drilling and the over-extraction of groundwater, and in accordance with Water Legislation Law No. 31 of 2005 and its executive regulations, as well as implementing the directives of the Ministry of Energy and the General Authority for Water Resources, the Water Patrol in the Directorate of Water Resources in Homs confiscated an illegal drilling rig.

Legal action has been taken, and it has been moved to the directorate's central garage, with the directorate following up to complete procedures against the offenders according to the law.
