The water authority caught illegal diggers in Daraa as part of efforts to protect groundwater.

The Water Resources Directorate in Daraa province seized an excavator from the western countryside of the province with the support of the Mazirib side, and both were taken to the directorate's garage while investigations continue to identify the owners of the excavators and complete the legal procedures against them.

This brings the number of confiscated illegal excavators to 68.

The directorate confirmed that proper action will be taken against the offenders and they will be referred to the competent court after the necessary reports are prepared according to the applicable laws and regulations.
