The water authority catches three illegal excavators in Daraa as part of efforts to protect groundwater
The Water Resources Directorate in Daraa Governorate seized two illegal excavators from the city of Tafas in the western countryside and one excavator from the city of Dael, with the support of the local directorates in those areas. These excavators have been taken to the directorate's garage, and investigations are ongoing in the local areas to identify the owners and complete the legal procedures against them.
With this, the total number of confiscated illegal excavators has risen to 79.
The directorate confirmed that proper legal action will be taken against the owners of the violations, and they will be referred to the competent judiciary after the necessary reports are prepared according to the applicable laws and regulations.
