The Raqqa Water Resources Directorate continues to carry out maintenance, rehabilitation, and dredging work at various work sites.

Key Completed Works:
Completion of the rehabilitation work at the cave site in Canal 17 – White Hill, by filling the site with 120 m³ of soil. Also, the Gates Workshop carried out the replacement of the faulty speed box in the tenth regulator on the main Balikh Canal in Abu Wahal village, installing a new speed box with a chrome slope, and returning the regulator to operational readiness.
Continuing clearing works in a number of canals and drains, including the main drainage in Al-Kharita Tahtani and Al-Hawayej in Deir Ezzor Governorate, the Maysalun intake channel, Al-Khabas secondary drain, and Wadi Al-Faydh channel in Al-Rashid, which helps improve water flow and boosts irrigation network performance.
 
The Water Patrol also continued its field tours to monitor irrigation networks, remove violations, and ensure compliance with the irrigation system to guarantee fair water distribution and conserve water resources.
 
The Raqqa Water Resources Directorate confirms the continuation of its field works according to the approved plans, contributing to improving the efficiency of the irrigation system, serving the agricultural sector, and ensuring water reaches those who need it.
