The Raqqa Water Resources Directorate continues to carry out maintenance and rehabilitation work within irrigation projects.

5 cubic metres of concrete were poured on canal 43 Al-Hous, with backfilling and compaction work on the main canal at Kasrat Surour, and treating erosion on Al-Lour canal at the end of Jarwa after pumping, along with levelling, maintenance and repair of water facilities and gates at several sites.

The water authority also continued their field rounds to remove violations and encroachments on irrigation networks and water canals, ensuring the efficiency of water projects.

These works are part of ongoing efforts to improve irrigation networks, enhance their readiness and ensure sustainable water delivery to agricultural lands for the best service to farmers.
