The pump station in Badmion has been turned on for the first time... a significant step to improve irrigation efficiency.

The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to implement its plans to develop the irrigation system and improve its efficiency, with Pumping Station (PS11) in Badmiyun coming into operation to boost the supply of water to irrigation networks and expand the use of water sources to benefit agricultural lands in the area.

At the same time, the directorate's teams continued their field monitoring of irrigation works in the Bssa Canal – Branch 42, observing the irrigation situation in Qasiya, Al-Samiya, Al-Samiya Farm, and Al-Qaqia.

They also continued to monitor the second irrigation cycle in the Bellouran development networks, covering several lines and branches in Zghreen, Ain Al-Dissa, Wata Al-Sarsakiya, Al-Bayra, Haret Beit Saleh, Al-Safsafa, and Majanat Mghwar, aiming to ensure that irrigation water reaches all targeted sectors according to the approved schedule.
