The maintenance workshops at the Latakia Water Resources Directorate carried out a series of emergency repairs on the irrigation networks.

In response to the faults that occurred during pumping operations, which were dealt with immediately to ensure the continuous delivery of water to beneficiaries without delay. The work in the Burgan sector within the Al-Huweiz Dam networks included repairing several metal faults of different diameters on the M19, M23 and M11 lines, involving welding worn areas, fixing joints and valves, and installing new watering equipment, under the supervision of specialised technical staff.

The workshops also carried out excavation and removal of GRB pipelines on line 4MP in the Al-Safsaf area within the Ein Al-Bayda irrigation group affiliated with Mashqita Dam, as well as repairing a metal fault on line 2MP in the Khirbet Al-Satrak area, which restored the lines to operational readiness and ensured water pumping continued as planned.

The directorate confirms that its technical teams are ready to deal immediately with any sudden faults that may occur during the irrigation season, ensuring the stability of the irrigation networks and the continued delivery of water to all agricultural lands according to the approved irrigation schedule.
