The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to monitor the operation of the irrigation system and ensure water supply to various agricultural networks, with irrigation water being passed through the intake at a rate of 2.5 m³/s since the morning, and pumping continuing to the Ain al-Bayda networks.
The PS3 Fadra and PS4 al-Bahloulia pumping stations are also operating with two pumps each to support water distribution. Water continues to flow in the main canal (level +80), alongside monitoring the delivery of irrigation water to the PT5 – Al-Fayd sector within the 3000-hectare project networks, which include the lands of Beit Mathbout and Beit Istanbul.
The directorate confirms that its technical staff will keep monitoring the system and irrigation conditions to ensure a continuous water supply to the agricultural lands.
