The Latakia Water Resources Directorate continues to maintain irrigation networks and enhance their readiness
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to carry out emergency and regular maintenance work on irrigation networks across various sites, aiming to maintain system efficiency and ensure continuous water supply to agricultural lands.
The work included repairing faults on irrigation lines within the Tarjano Dam and Al-Hweiz Dam groups, as well as fixing issues in the main supply lines for pumping stations PS-3-3 and PS-2, and conducting technical tests that brought the networks back into service according to the operational schedule.
Workshops also carried out repairs and leak fixes on the Bardikha network and the Qabarsiya line, which helps improve network efficiency and reduce water loss.
The directorate emphasizes that maintenance work and rapid response to faults will continue, ensuring that irrigation networks are ready and water supply remains sustainable throughout the farming season.
