The Latakia Water Resources Directorate continues maintenance work and boosts the readiness of the irrigation system

The staff of the Latakia Water Resources Directorate continue their field work to fix malfunctions and ensure the readiness of pumping networks and stations. The work included repairing faults on the main lines and networks of PS-13, PS-3, and PS-3-6 stations, as well as addressing leaks in the main MC-1 channel in the Damaat area.

They also repaired faults in the Ain Al-Bayda – Mashqita Dam irrigation group, and maintained several PVC networks and channels, alongside checking the pumping stations in the first and second phases of Mashqita Dam and monitoring their technical readiness.

As part of improving operations, the Amrouniya PS8 station was brought online and successfully tested, while initial acceptance work is being carried out for the Maghrit PS3-4 pumping station.

These efforts are part of ongoing field follow-ups to ensure the efficiency of the networks and stations and the continuous supply of irrigation water to the areas served.
