The Latakia Water Resources Directorate continues maintenance and cleaning work on the irrigation networks
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues carrying out maintenance and dredging work across irrigation networks and projects. The work included dredging the main canal in the Wati al-Aqeeba area for a length of 250 meters, as well as clearing the Third Branch Bridge culvert and the entrances of the siphons in the Abu Ba'ra – Al-Sakhaba area.
They also carried out cutting, welding, and connecting irrigation lines and inlets within the Tarjano Dam networks, along with following up on repairs of several lines and networks in pumping stations and their affiliated areas, ensuring the networks remain operational and service quality improves.
The work also included cleaning and dredging the protective network of the irrigation intake for the 3,000-hectare network, as part of routine maintenance to maintain the efficiency of the facilities.
The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia emphasizes that it will continue field follow-ups and carry out the necessary maintenance and dredging work to keep the irrigation facilities and networks ready and ensure their continuous optimal operation.
