The Latakia Water Resources Directorate continues its water measurement rounds and monitoring of water sources.

The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to carry out field tours with the Water Resources Information Centre teams as part of the regular monitoring programme for water sources, observing their condition on the ground to improve the accuracy of water information and support resource management and planning work.

The tours covered the Quwaiqah, Mitrekieh and Qutrabieh well areas and the Sheikh Muqbil spring, in addition to the Aramo, Qashbah and Dourin springs, and the Roumiya wells, Qutriah farm and Habait River.

These tours are part of the ongoing follow-up of water sources, assessing their situation on the ground and supplying the Water Resources Information Centre with the data needed to evaluate water resources and enhance preparedness for the coming period.
