The General Authority for Water Resources is assessing the technical condition of the Dreibikesh and Sourani dams

The General Authority for Water Resources followed up on the technical situation of the Drikish and Al-Sourani dams in Tartous Governorate in the field, through a tour by a technical team from the authority accompanied by the Water Resources Director, Engineer Mohammed Mohrez. The goal was to assess the condition of the two dams and identify the maintenance work needed to keep them fully operational.

The tour included inspecting the dam spillways and the piezometric measurement system, as well as monitoring the areas needing maintenance, in preparation for starting the work, ensuring the dams maintain their efficiency and storage capacity.
