The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia continues to carry out daily operation plans to ensure water keeps reaching the farmland.

The Tarjano Dam lock was opened and 1.5 m³/s was directed towards the PS1 Difa pumping station and the irrigation networks fed from the M2 canal, and a second pump was also put into operation to supply the Ain al-Bayda networks, enhancing water supply efficiency.

As part of monitoring the second irrigation cycle, the technical teams continued work on the Bellouran development networks, covering the areas of Zaghrin, Ain al-Disa, Tu al-Sarskiya, Al-Bayra, Haret Beit Salha, Al-Safsafa, and Madjana Maghwar, confirming through field visits that water reached all network branches and achieved very good irrigation conditions.

The Latakia Water Resources Directorate confirms that its technical and field staff continue to monitor operations and oversee the networks, supporting the agricultural season and serving the farmers.
