The Directorate of Water Resources in Latakia Governorate announced the irrigation rates implemented up to Sunday, August 23, 2026, for the fourth group affiliated with the Tarjanu Dam, the Bluran network development group, and the Daruqiat unit.
The M1 irrigation network recorded a 95 percent rate in the second cycle, covering the areas of Fudra, Al-Bahloulia, Al-Karkit, and Al-Samndil. Meanwhile, the Ps3 network achieved a 90 percent rate in the first cycle, benefiting areas like Al-Damat, Al-Khuraybah, Jabriyon, Badmiyon, and Al-Mukhtariyah.
The Ps4 network reached 95 percent during the first cycle, covering Al-Bahloulia, Al-Rastan, and Al-Rafi’ah. Ps5 recorded 75 percent in the first cycle, covering Al-Bahloulia, Shir Al-Kharab, Al-Rastan, Salib Al-Bahloulia, Al-Rafi’ah, Ruwaysat Al-Qassis, Al-Jabsinah, Al-Zubar, and Al-Qarama.
For the Bluran networks, MP1-1 achieved 100 percent, Al-Hawasiya networks 92 percent, Zghayreen network 85 percent, and Zghayreen and Al-Sarmakiyah network 61 percent.
In the Daruqiat unit, some networks reached 75 percent irrigation, while the Ain Alwan network recorded 22 percent. The directorate affirmed that maintenance and field monitoring work will continue to ensure stable water flow and improving the efficiency of irrigation networks in a way that supports the agricultural sector in the governorate.
