The Aleppo Water Resources Directorate is continuing the repair work on the main line (ML2) supplying 3,000 hectares in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

The work includes repairing a 1800 mm diameter GRP line, after securing a used section to replace the damaged part, as well as addressing cracks and splits along about fifty metres from the explosion site, helping to bring the line back into service and improve its efficiency.

These works are part of the directorate's plan to repair damage to the irrigation networks and ensure stable water supply for the agricultural areas benefiting in southern rural Aleppo.
