Clearing the sub-channels in Sector 7 to ensure the project is ready for the winter farming season
Maintenance workshops at the Water Resources Directorate in Deir Ezzor, in collaboration with the Al-Bawakir workshop in Sector Seven, are continuing work on desilting and cleaning the subsidiary channels in the Sector Seven project in Al-Jalaa village. This is done by removing accumulated dirt and silt, helping improve the flow of irrigation water and ensuring it reaches the agricultural lands as needed.
These efforts are part of ongoing work to prepare the project and complete maintenance and rehabilitation tasks ahead of the winter farming season, ensuring the channels are ready for irrigation, meeting farmers’ water needs, and supporting the stability of agricultural activities.
These efforts also show the Directorate’s staff dedication to continuing fieldwork to maintain the readiness of water facilities, improve irrigation system efficiency, and serve farmers and agricultural lands.
