Submersible pump replacement at station 19 to enhance irrigation continuity

As part of maintenance and efficiency improvement work at pumping stations, the staff of the Tartous Water Resources Directorate replaced a 40-horsepower, 5-inch submersible pump at well number seven in station 19 in the Deir al-Hajar area.

Stations 17, 18, and 19 contribute to supplying irrigation water to approximately 100 hectares of agricultural land in the villages of Samriyan, al-Tayyiba, and al-Ziyada, ensuring the continued operation of the pumping stations and improving the efficiency of the irrigation system throughout the agricultural season.

This work is part of the Directorate's plan to maintain the readiness of irrigation facilities, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the delivery of water to the beneficiary agricultural lands.
