Rolling out the IMS irrigation management system to the provincial water resources directorates.

The Water Resources Information Centre at the Latakia Water Resources Directorate organised a training workshop on the IMS system at the Hama Water Resources Directorate.

Specialists and technicians from Hama, Homs, Aleppo, and Idlib water resources took part in the workshop.

It included a detailed explanation of the IMS system, its components, importance, and outputs. Questions from the specialists about the system's operation and how to transfer Latakia's experience to the participating provinces were answered.

It was agreed to set up working teams in each province to start creating an irrigation management system for each province, taking into account the specific needs of each one.
