Restarting the second pump at Ain Zubda pumping station after its maintenance

The specialized technical workshops at the Tartous Water Resources Directorate have put the second pump at the Sokh Ain Al-Zubda station back into service after completing its maintenance, helping to boost the stability of irrigation for 480 hectares of farmland served by the station in the villages of Al-Sabbouhiya, Al-Safsafa, Nahout, and the Ain Al-Zubda plain.

The maintenance work included rewinding the pump motor, which has a capacity of 110 kW, completing the technical maintenance tasks, and conducting the necessary operational tests to ensure the pump is ready for use.

These efforts are part of an ongoing maintenance program that keeps up with the irrigation process, aiming to maintain the readiness of pumping stations and ensure the continuous delivery of irrigation water to farmland according to the approved watering plan.
