Replacing a submersible pumping station in the Ain Al-Bayda tunnel to serve agricultural lands in the countryside of Latakia
As part of its efforts to improve the efficiency of the irrigation system and support the agricultural sector, the technical staff at the Latakia Water Resources Directorate replaced the submersible pump station at the exit of Ain Al-Bayda Tunnel.
The work aims to enhance the irrigation process for about 144 hectares of farmland in several beneficiary villages, most notably the village of Harfoush.
These efforts are part of the directorate’s plan to maintain the readiness of irrigation facilities and improve the efficiency of pumping stations, ensuring the supply of irrigation water to the agricultural areas that benefit from it and making the best use of water resources.
